Bio

I am:

A Republican Candidate running for the newly established Wisconsin 37th House District seat of the Wisconsin Legislature.

An “Army Brat” who has lived in many foreign countries, and speaks French, Spanish, and some Farsi.

I moved to the Watertown area in 1977 where Barbara and I raised four children, Jim Jr., Lisa, Jeffrey, and Laura. All attended St. Bernard’s Catholic School and graduated  from the Watertown Sr. High School.

Registered Professional Engineer

As founder and President of MIS Labs, a professional engineering company established in 1976, I served as the Rain Maker.  My primary job was to meet with business leaders, explain how technology would improve their business and develop and implement a plan to accomplish the project.

In 2001 I retired from the company I  started and ran for 35 years. For more, see my complete resume on the web site.
In 2009 empty-nesters Barbara and I moved into the City of Watertown and now live at 1042 Richards Avenue with our Great Dane "Spuds" and three cats.

An Army Veteran of the Korean Era
As President of the Old Abe Chapter of the 101st Airborne Division Association - I am proud to have served two terms on the State of Wisconsin, Department of Veterans Affairs, Legislative Committee and two terms on the  Finance Committee.
